Days by Design were commissioned by a UK Energy company to manage and deliver the event logistics for a one day business event for circa. 800. Participants were invited across six business areas within the company and the event was held at the National Ice Arena / Capital FM Arena in Nottingham. DBD worked collaberatively with the company's venue booking agents, Creative, Print, Event Production and Video suppliers to create an engaging and active day that involved key business presentation sessions and interactive breakout sessions plus the launch of a new internal TV channel that was broadcast live on the day.
Services provided by Days by Design included venue and delegate management, pre-event site visits, transfers. An online delegate registration site was created to manage the registration process. As a solution to the venue having no onsite parking, DBD worked in partnership with Nottingham City Council and a local transfer company to provide a dedicated and exclusive Park & Ride facility for event participants to use. The site was located on the edge of Nottingham City Centre and easily accessible from the motorway networks. In addition, adhoc satallite meetings and dinners were managed and delivered pre-event, during and post-event at the Park Plaza Hotel, Nottingham over a 3 day period.
